Pile of Stuff

We have this pile in our garage.  It's the ("Will you please sort through that pile today?" pleads my husband.) pile.  It's full of...stuff.  Stuff from cleaning out my car, stuff I've bought for future birthday presents, stuff like that new (possibly unnecessary, but definitely needed) clothing purchase I am not ready to tell my budget savvy husband about.  Just stuff.

I lost a bag of groceries about two weeks ago.  It vanished!  Unbeknownst to me, the bag had somehow wiggled its way into the pile of stuff.  The recovery mission was too late.  The applesauce and baby food survived.  The strawberries did not.

Grumpy Mom Goal of the Week:  I will sort through the pile of stuff.

Oh, ick! I've had that happen before, though it wasn't with strawberries. A carton of yogurt had rolled out of the bag and somewhere in the back of the car. I didn't realize it, though, until about a month later. Yes, even a seal yogurt will start to smell in the Arizona heat. I'm glad I'm not the only one this has happened to! ;-)

I hope you have a good week!

It has happened to me as well-Many times!! Once we forgot about some potatoes in our downstairs pantry....they grew roots that were over three feet long!! It was so nasty!!
I have also done it with strawberries-Those fuzz up real quick!

Yeah, that is gross. We have a room like that, a catch all however it is too far from the kitchen for groceries to end up in it. Thank heavens! I did however lose some jo jos in the car one night and found them under the stroller a few weeks later. Ick!

I have so many "go through" piles that it's getting embarrassing! I need a cleaning lady. Oh yeah, I have one...it's me! Maybe if I got paid more...

Totally gross, but completely funny! Maybe you could pull that off as a science project :D

The kids are pretty good to help put the groceries away around here, but they don't always get where they are supposed to go. The other day I found a "frozen" pizza on the floor outside the freezer. That promptly hit the garbage. I also picked up a jello parfait from the deli, you know, the orange and white stuff all stirred together? When it was time for supper I looked and looked for the jello. I even called my daughter who worked at Smiths and asked her if someone had left a bag. Nothing. Then last week when I was getting some chicken out of the freezer I found my jello. It was frozen solid! I put it in the fridge thinking the kids might still eat it (they eat almost anything!) but after a day or two it hit the garbage too. Have a good one!

Ewwww. We usually find the sippy cup with sour milk under the seat of the car and there's always something growing in the back of the refrigerator.

LOL! I have several of those piles. Usually it all stays IN the van though, until my husband pulls everything out and messes up my whole "system". Unfortunately most of the time, the piles are in my van and it looks like we live out of that thing. Have a great wednesday!

I left a grocery bag in my car and found it a couple days later. It had yogurt in it. GROSS.

And another time? Left meat in the car overnight. EWWWWWWWW.

Had no idea I wasn't the only one who did this, though. Phew.

Our garage is packed to the brim with "stuff." On the bright side I could never lose a bag of groceries in there. It wouldn't fit!! :)

Are you sure the strawberries were bad? Did you try them?? You never know until you try right!? ;)
