A Wild Ride!

I took my boys just last month, but Mase has been begging me to go again.

"Pease Mom.  We go today?  Peeeease."

Well yesterday was his lucky day!  After convincing my daughter with the stomach flu that this would be fun, I loaded the kids up and headed to our anticipated destination.  It's a little pricey to go two months in a row, but I've been slightly cranky lately.  I needed to earn some extra cool mom points.

And I splurged!  It was only a few dollars more for the SUPREME ride.

I love to see those joyful faces.

Grumpy Grateful Mom Goal of the Day:   Planning our next memorable adventure.

Have a great weekend everyone!

LOL What a ride. Maybe my kids would love to do that. Knowing my luck they would freak out and there would be no getting out.
You crack me up girl. I really needed a laugh this morning.

Love it. A family outing and the car gets washed too. You are such a good multi-tasker :)

You're cracking me up again!
My boys think the car wash is a treat too. But when they were younger...not so much. They'd cry when the saw the "octopus" (those long, skinny rubber flaps that hang down and swish from side to side).

Your little one looks terrified!
I've never taken my kids on a car wash ride. This looks like FUN!
You have a great weekend too! :)

Oh, how I looooove the smell of the car wash soap!! Kind of cherry/bubblegum/candy...

Now I want to go wash my car....

I honestly thought my kids were the only ones who LOVED going through the car wash lol! We have rainbow soap at the new carwash and they think that is the BEST!

I love that carwash! When they opened last year and were free, I swear we were down there at least a dozen times. Sadly, we have to wash our own cars now...no rainbow colored soap for us. But my kids love it too.

Over the summer my husband worked at Platinum on 90th and 1300w Once a week we got a basic wash. The first time I took my boys through the wash I told the youngest he got to drive through the wash. His eyes were big like saucers and he swallowed nervously but climbed into the driver's seat with a grin the size of Texas. I am pretty sure my stepson closed his eyes in the back seat and started praying. The best reaction came from the hand dryers at Platinum. They look at every car to see if they have a driver. (Some people put it in neutral and head inside.) When my 4 year old came victoriously through the carwash with a serious driver look on the hand dryer ran back to have everyone outside come look. My husband was out there and just laughed, that's my boy and pointed to mom sitting calmly in the passenger seat. Next time I'll let my 6 year old drive.

That looks like fun! ;) We have only done that car wash once, and we didn't have the rainbow soap. I wasn't sure what you were talking about at first, but I got it now!!! :) Glad that they had fun... (or most of them..) :D

Blessings in Christ,
Mikailah

Oh how cute. I remember how I loved the car wash when I was a kid. Dad never ever allowed it. It was my favorite sesame street clip!

My girls love the car wash too! The first time we went it freaked out the 3 yr old but once it was over she was begging to go again.

I think my car needs a wash before we all go back to school and work. Thanks for the idea!

I *love* it .... after we went camping, Doc did the car wash thing, and you'd think we took them to Disneyland.... y'know, I may just have to do that while the kids are off track (especially with 4+ days w/out a house when our floors are being put in .... am I CRAZY?!)

I knew EXACTLY where this post was going when I saw the car windows; only because I just *recently* (6 months ago...or more) ran my car through one and took the picture because it was sooo cool.

Unfortunately, a 16 year old doesn't think it is nearly as fun as little ones do.

Hi! (I'm a new follower). Your kids do so much better than mine at the car wash! LOL We can't even take my 6yo... poor kiddo would just scream. She hasn't been to one in about 3 years. lol

my boys absolutely LOVE the car wash as well. Buggy who is 15 months is starting to get a little freaked out by it, but when he sees his brothers smiling he calms down.

Sometimes, it's all about the little things!!

That last picture made me LOL! What an expression! When I was a kid, I would BEG my mom to take me to the car wash. I loved it. She would try to convince me that it would be much more fun to wash the car ourselves at home, but it wasn't. It wasn't!

What is is about the car wash that kids love? My kids loved being in the car and had so much fun teasing about rolling the windows down Well - here in my city it is a pretty cheap thrill...
And secretly - I love it too. :)

So cute! I love the last photo :) My 4 and 2 year old loved going through car washes, but then a few weeks ago my 2 year old freaked out during the car wash and I have no idea why it scared her that time and not all of the times before. So now we've been washing our car outside, which is probably more fun for them, but I hope I can take them through the carwash again soon!

I used to love to go through the car wash! Still do, but just never do it. There's something so mesmerizing about the soap suds and the mechanical arms moving. Am I the only adult who likes this? I also love to watch the squeegee on my windshield, especially when my husband is cleaning it for me:)

By the way, your Richard Armitage Battle suggestion was a huge hit! I have British Mums sending me links to all of his stuff, and I'm pretty sure(not positive), I even had a couple men voting this time. Not sure what I think about that yet in our little Mommy world;)

My son is TERRIFIED of carwashes. He will NOT let me go thru one. I use as my excuse why my car is always dirty. LOL!

My kids love the car wash too! I never go, because it's way cheaper to wash the car yourself. (Which I NEVER do! We drive around in a filthy car!) But I guess it's way cheaper than the aquarium, right?

Cool pictures! My kids are afraid of the car wash, which makes me go through it even more! Hee hee.
